This specially designed course aims to ensure that vision impaired children gain a greater understanding of how best to use their residual vision, other senses, equipment and newly acquired skills to feel safe and confident when carrying out basic kitchen tasks. 

Kitchen skills will be introduced along with the opportunity to try specialist equipment, learn techniques and enjoy the sensory experience of food preparation and eating the end result of your efforts. Useful Vision is pleased to welcome Penny Dane from Second Sight as our lead instructor on this course. 

The course lasts 4 weeks with a two hour session, in groups of four, every Saturday. Places are limited, please contact the office to book your place on 0845 60 48 49 1.
