PostHeaderIcon Useful Vision Families enjoy their trip to Hall Hill Farm

We had a wonderful day at Hall Hill Farm, near Lanchester, on April 24th.

33 children and their parents & carers enjoyed our recent visit to the Hall Hill Farm.

The children enjoyed tractor rides, cuddling the rabbits, holding the chicks and bottle feeding the lambs, plus meeting lots of other animals.

Everybody enjoyed their picnics in the Picnic Barn and the weather was beautiful and sunny.

Families were given special guided tours around the farm to touch and feel the animals.  A big thank you to all of the staff at Hall Hill Farm for their help on the day.

....Volunteers play a vital role in the running of Useful Vision.  Their involvement helps us to reduce running costs and ensures that most of the funds we raise go on activities and events for our children, young people  and families.

Volunteers helping at Riding Day 2010

Volunteers are needed to help at activities, events and classes during weekends and school holidays.  Voluteering with Useful Vision is not a huge commitment and it can be a very rewarding experience.  All we ask is your time for 2 or 3 activities a year.  For this we offer training and support  to volunteer,  as well as out of pocket expenses.
