Useful Vision is a registered charity. Our aim is to help blind and partially sighted children and their families in the north east get the most out of life.

We do this through the delivery of family support services, imaginative events, educational activities, and skills workshops designed to meet the needs of vision impaired children of all ages and abilities.

Volunteers helping at Riding Day 2010

Volunteers are needed to help at activities, events and classes during weekends and school holidays.  Voluteering with Useful Vision is not a huge commitment and it can be a very rewarding experience.  All we ask is your time for 2 or 3 activities a year.  For this we offer training and support  to volunteer,  as well as out of pocket expenses.
