Looking for a way to make a difference in your community and have fun at the same time? Join the team at Useful Vision and help us provide amazing activities for visually impaired children and their families across the North East.
Our jam-packed program includes everything from adventure days to accessible sport, sensory-focused toddler groups to life skills workshops for teenagers. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us and help make these activities a success. There are a range of ways you can lend your support, such as welcoming families to our events, making cups of tea or serving refreshments, handing out tickets, maps, or wristbands, setting up equipment, joining in with fundraising challenges, taking photos, and much more!
Not only will you make a positive impact, but you’ll gain valuable experience too. As a Useful Vision volunteer, you’ll have access to free training and the chance to develop transferable skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership. You’ll also meet new people and become part of a supportive and inclusive community.
Please click here to apply and we’ll be in touch to arrange next steps, such as arranging a DBS check if you don’t already have one.
