Join us at Gibside, where breezes whisper in the trees and the smell of spicy wild garlic tickles your nose as you embark on an ‘Out of Your Senses Stroll’   which is a sensory interactive trail to appreciate nature.

Take part in the ‘ Art in Nature’ Activity.  Using dried sticks, crunchy leaves, squidgy moss and bark to create your own sculpture.  Its as easy as (mud) pie!

Between activities you will be able to toast gloopy marshmallows over a crackling campfire.

Please note:  Activity areas are wheelchair accessible but the ground underfoot on the walks is rough.  Marshmallow toasting is up a hill and it takes 20 – 30 minutes to get to the senses trail activity.
