AbilityNet are delivering a session about how technology can support a visually impaired person day-to-day. This session will focus on how devices such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home can be used to support independence. We will also discuss smartphone apps and accessories such as Apple Watches and Fitbits. There will be lots of time to ask any questions.

If you require further help after this session, AbilityNet have a community of volunteers who can provide a home visit to set up any new technology. All of AbilityNet’s services are free to individuals.

Although this event is aimed at parents/carers, children are welcome to join in.

This event will be held over Microsoft Teams. You do not have to have your camera/microphone on for the event, but you must book on with office@usefulvision.org.uk so we can maintain the safety of all participants.
