We have exclusive sessions booked to get crafty and creative, making bird boxes and creatures to take home, a self-led nature trail, an exhibition (Covid restrictions allowing), the Sill rooftop walk, plus access to Hadrian’s Wall!

There is lots going on such as tractor rides, feed the animals, giant jumping pillows and more. There will be lots of opportunities for cuddling rabbits and guinea pigs, holding chicks and stroking the larger animals – sheep, goats, donkeys and alpacas. There is a picnic and play area at the farm, including an adventure playground and Noah’s ark.

Come and join either of our yoga sessions, depending upon your
age. Our Children’s Yoga Teacher, Emma from Kalma Life UK will
guide you in a 45-minute session of yoga stretches, mindfulness and
breathing techniques. It is a fun, interactive class which will be
warm and welcoming.
Yoga encourages children to connect their physical and emotional
state in a fun and nurturing way, teaches self-control and helps
manage emotions, empowering and inspiring children’s confidence.
Come and join in as Pop Star Performers bring to your living room a really great party.
Descendants is the latest popular thing for all the cool kids in the know! You will be captivated by the games, songs, dance routines, scene re-enactments and activities. This interactive party will get your child’s imagination running wild and will have them become an active performer in the show. If your child is itching to be Mal, Evie or Uma then they are going to LOVE this party experience.
You might have been to a real-life circus, but you have certainly never been to our Webcam Circus, where animals, magicians and clowns are just at your fingertips behind a computer screen.
As ringmaster Monsieur Loyal illustrates the best tricks and acts that made the history of circus as we know it, using old and brand new real footage, his nephew, Clown Ninetto keeps the audience digitally engaged with improbable jugglery acts, unforgettable drama games and interactive activities.

We are delighted to announce that we have arranged for Lawnmowers Independent Theatre Company to host two Zoom Christmas Discos on Saturday 19th December 2020. The #Krockcrew DJ’s will be rocking online. Come and join us for these fun filled sessions and show us your best dance moves.
Session 1 will take place from 3.00pm – 3.45pm and is suitable for children aged 0 – 10
Session 2 will take place from 4.00pm to 4.45pm and is suitable for children and young people aged 11 – 19

Pick one or all of three attractions we are offering are Alnwick Gardens, Hall Hill Farm & Washington Wetlands. Contact the office for your preferred date and time slot. We will book it for you and pay then send you the tickets. Couldn’t be simpler.
Due to Covid restrictions, Useful Vision staff are unable to attend any of the events with you. All events require pre-booking.
We want to help you and your family to get out and about, however if you choose to go on one of the visits, you must remain in your family bubble. Groups no larger than 6.
Attraction visitors over the age of 10 will need to wear a face covering in all indoors areas (unless medically exempt)
Visitor numbers are limited each day to help keep everyone safe. In view of this when you contact us to make a booking please provide us with your chosen date and an alternative date.

Jenny Brewis, who ran our regular choir before lockdown, has very kindly agreed to set up an online choir for us via zoom. The sessions will include a warm up and some singing led by Jennie then everyone can sing along using backing tracks or a cappella. There will be an opportunity for young people to rewrite words to songs and possibly write a song from scratch.
Sessions will last one hour.
If you are interested in this activity, we will need to know the type of equipment you would be using to access the session, for example, telephone, laptop, iPad, tablet, desktop etc. Please have this information to hand when you ring us.
Parents are very welcome to join in, the more the merrier.
